What is the Functional Approach?
About Mark Bennett

Optimal Health

Your health is important, very important. So what is ‘health’? The World Health Organisation in 1948 defined ‘health’ as ‘a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity’. So, how does one achieve and maintain optimal health…….?

Chronic Disease

Chronic or noncommunicable diseases are not contagious. According to the World Health Organisation ‘they are of long duration and generally slow progression. The four main types – cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes and chronic respiratory diseases – impose a major and growing burden on health and development’.
